Your First Vist


Brief Paperwork
For your first visit, we have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. The paperwork provides the therapists  with detailed information about yourself and your condition. To make your first visit as efficient as possible, you may print out all necessary forms by CLICKING HERE

 

History and Examination

In order to determine what your actual problem is, Dr Bob will ask you various questions related to your condition. He will also review your detailed health questionnaire  to evaluate what are the precipitating factor for you condition. See the section HOW TO GET BETTER THE FASTEST AND REMAIN WELL

Next, a physical exam will be  performed  which will include a number of specialized tests will be used to determine which tissues are affected and to what extent..

Consultation
Once the paperwork has been completed, you will have a consultation with DR Bob  to discuss your health-related problems, any concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Upon completion, you will need to sign a consent form if you would like Dr Bob to treat you.

 

X-ray Studies
Your specific condition may require  x-rays or MRIs to  either rule out more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. If and when, these are necessary, they will be ordered.

Same Day Treatment
Once finished with the history, examination, appropriate studies and a signed consent  form , treatment can be started on your first visit. Most patients can be treated on their  visit, after a thorough review of findings and formation of the best plan of action. This first treatment  may include spinal adjustments, massage therapy, manual therapy, physical therapies, and/or soft tissue therapies.

Home Instructions
Prior to leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. This may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
